About The Module
Krinkle Area-Based Closure® is a robust mobile app (iOS & Android) that provides users with all the necessary forms to perform a comprehensive well site closure at any former oil & gas site where equipment is still present.
Krinkle Area-Based Closure® allows users to document (with GPS & fully tagged photos) the site’s signage, its approach characteristics, land uses, weeds and vegetation, environmental concerns (APECs), tanks, wellheads (with pressure testing), topography, hill cuts, wetlands (with estimated area math), and much more. Even a site sketch system is included, which can either capture handwritten and photographed sketches or allow the user to draw directly on an overhead satellite image using a stylus.

Advanced Reporting Capabilities
Krinkle Environmental® and its ABC & ESA Phase I Modules include an easy-to-read set of reports, which any report recipient would find complete and concise. They can even be customized with your company’s name and logo. Although custom reports are rarely needed in Krinkle’s products, they can be created quickly upon request. While the data collection effort is typically non-linear, our professional reporting system automatically organizes the data for easy viewing.

Keep Users Connected with their Data
An Intuitive Design for Complex Processes
Our ultra-intuitive user interface design makes training quick, data entry quick, and ultimately keeps your users deeply organized, connected to their data, and highly efficient. No one wants field employees to spend too much time documenting, so we've designed the software to be user-friendly.
Data Visibility at Your Fingertips
Google Earth & ESRI Compatibility
Krinkle Area-Based Closure® is fully integrated with Google Earth, which allows users to easily and quickly create a geospatial view of user work (“Work Crumbing“ and “Bread Crumbing”) as well as the locations of the individual assets they identified during their work (environmental concerns, wetlands, hill cuts, tanks, etc.). The data can be saved as a file (.KMZ and .KML file formats) from our secure reporting portal and viewed on Google Earth. Krinkle Area-Based Closure® can also convert them to ESRI Shape Files.

Comprehensive Proof-of-Work
Date, Time, and GPS Stamped Photos
All photos taken within Krinkle Area-Based Closure® are automatically stamped with the date, time, GPS position, user, and client as well as other “proof-of-work” elements specific to the photo taken. Incorporating “proof-of-work” photos into all your documentation illustrates every aspect of a future auditor’s questions, making your organization fully audit-ready. While Krinkle Area-Based Closure® can collect your GPS location straight from your mobile device (iOS/Android), it also allows you to enter external, high precision GPS positions (i.e., Trimble devices) if your data requires that level of accuracy.
We Work The Way You Work
Guided Process with Non-Linear Data Capture
Krinkle Environmental® and its modules were built to keep your end-users efficient with their time, thorough in their data collection, and guided step-by-step through their work. This ensures accuracy, completeness, and speed while collecting data. While the system acts as a guided process, it does not limit its users by forcing them to complete their work in a specific order. The app demonstrates incredible flexibility by allowing field workers to fill out forms and assess the site in the quickest/most efficient order for that particular site/project. For example, instead of completing all wetlands forms at once and then moving on to complete all of the hill-cut forms at once, the user can decide which forms to complete at what time (typically determined by their geographic location and the surrounding land). This drastically speeds up the area-based closure process and significantly reduces the data collection burden.
Krinkle Area-Based Closure® Data is Integrated With the Daily Visit Record Module
The Daily Visit Record & Report
In addition to Krinkle Area-Based Closure®'s ability to guide and track the entire history of an ongoing area-based closure project, your clients will appreciate keeping up to date on work accomplished on each of your daily visits to their project sites. Krinkle Daily Visit Record® and the report it creates keep them well informed in a highly professional and "proof-of-work" manner. Krinkle Daily Visit Record® allows you to report your work each day, including travel times, times on-site, GPS, date and time stamped photos relevant to that day's work, field notes, and recommendations. However, when your daily visit record refers to an area-based closure underway that day, Krinkle Area-Based Closure® automatically fills in a section of that report with data collected on that day. In other words, a section of the overall area-based closure project accomplished on that day is automatically placed into the daily visit record report.

The servers are protected at Amazon’s secure data centers behind their tightly managed firewalls.
Easy to Train, Learn and Deploy
Krinkle Area-Based Closure® is easily trained, learned, and used by your employees or contractors.
